Arrival

We recommend using public trasportation. The Turku region public transportation Föli line number 1 towards the harbour. It stops on Linnakatu, just below Kakolanmäki (bus stop number 49). From Linnankatu, you can walk up the hill or take the unique funicular directly in front of Graniittilinna.

It’s approximately 1.5 kilometers from the main railway station to Kakola Spa, and just under 4 kilometers from Kupittaa railway station.

The distance from Turku harbour is 2 kilometers.

You can walk to Kakolanmäki either from the Port Arthur (Portsa) side via Kakolankatu and up the slope next to Hotel Kakola. From Linnankatu, you can climb through the Kakolanpuisto park via Serpenttiinitie or take the funicular.

Spa customers can park in the parking garage at the end of Graniittilinnankatu, next to the hotel (address: Kakolankatu 19), or inside the walls, in the parking area in front of Kakolan Länsisselli (drive there from the gate on the harbor side corner of Graniittilinnankatu).

You can pay for parking in the parking garage using the Easypark or Parkman applications, or pay when you arrive at the spa reception (€6.50/ 3.5h spa visit). If you pay at the reception, please remember to write down your car’s registration number, as it will be recorded in the parking control systems.

Please note that in the parking lot in front of Kakola’s Länsissell, you can only pay for parking with apps, not at the spa reception.

Street parking on Kakolanmäki is prohibited and there is a parking control in the area.
